Orti di Veio is an urban gardening association in Rome’s northern district, set within the natural landscape of Veio Park. It offers a welcoming place to cultivate a personal plot, spend time outdoors and connect with a community of fellow growers. Members can care for their gardens through the seasons and share everyday experiences, advice and time together.
The site also features a barbecue area beneath the oak trees, suitable for meals, birthdays and gatherings, with space for children. The area is open to everyone, subject to availability; enquiries and bookings for barbecues and celebrations are directed to Hortus Villae. The wider setting includes a chicken coop, goats, bees and growing plants, giving visitors a chance to enjoy a lively outdoor environment close to the city.
Orti di Veio provides information about its gardens, the local area and current weather conditions through an on-site weather station. Located at Via della Giustiniana 380, it invites visitors to discover urban gardening and shared outdoor experiences in Rome Nord
