Orientační sporty Písek

Orientační sporty Písek is a sports club based in Písek, Czech Republic, focused primarily on orienteering. The club welcomes participants of all ages and experience levels, from preschool children and families to seniors, recreational enthusiasts, and ambitious competitors. Its activity combines running in natural settings, especially forests, with map-reading and navigation, offering both physical exercise and opportunities to develop concentration and problem-solving skills.

Alongside regular training, the club takes part in races and organizes or shares information about events, competitions, and training camps. Its coaches support athletes seeking to progress to national-level competition, while members who treat orienteering as a hobby can enjoy the sport at a more relaxed pace. A strong emphasis on teamwork and community is central to the club’s approach: children can make friends, adults can connect with other active parents, and members spend time together at weekend events and camps as well as during training. Orientační sporty Písek presents orienteering as an accessible, adventurous way to stay active outdoors and build lasting social connections.
