Open Shop Channel is an open-source homebrew apps repository and a community-driven project aiming to revive the Wii Shop Channel. Launched in March 2018, the project initially focused on creating a replacement for the Wii Shop Channel but has evolved into a general open-source repository of apps. It offers services like the Homebrew Browser and OSCDL, allowing users to easily access and download up-to-date applications.

The project also provides a public and open API for developers to create custom services and clients. The Open Shop Channel team continuously works on improving and expanding the project, with plans for additional services like Club Spot, which offers perks to users. With a dedicated team of developers and contributors, the Open Shop Channel has gained popularity and has become a go-to resource for Wii homebrew enthusiasts.
