Who We Are OKF provides holistic education support for brilliant youth in Ghana made vulnerable by physical disability and financial need. What We Do We provide financial assistance for education from primary school through university and offer mentoring, coaching, internships, character development, career guidance, and leadership development for our scholars to succeed in life. Our Story OKF was birthed from the passion Dr. Kofi Osei-Kusi has for the youth. For over two decades, he has been involved in mentoring the youth, many of whom are now corporate executives, business owners, and leaders in various fields of endeavor. The OKF was therefore established as a vehicle with the desire to invest in young people and create a new breed for public leadership across all spheres. About Osei-Kusi Foundation
Description:
Welcome to Osei-Kusi Foundation (OKF), a non-profit organization dedicated to holistic youth development, with a particular emphasis on educational scholarships for young individuals. Our primary objective is to support brilliant yet vulnerable youth, from primary school to university, by providing financial assistance for education. But we don't stop there. We also offer mentoring, coaching, internships, character development, career guidance, and leadership training to ensure our scholars excel in all aspects of life.
OKF was founded by Dr. Kofi Osei-Kusi, whose passion for youth development has spanned over two decades. Many of his mentees have gone on to become corporate executives, business owners, and leaders in various fields. Since its establishment in 2009, OKF has continued to invest in young people and nurture the next generation of public leaders.
Our vision is to become Africa’s leading youth-focused foundation, empowering vulnerable youth to discover their purpose and maximize their potentials. In recognition of our dedication and impact, we have been honored with several awards, including the Philanthropic Foundation of the Year 2017 and the Small & Medium Enterprises Ghana High Impact Award in 2016.
With a team of dedicated trustees, an international advisory board, an executive president, and enthusiastic volunteers, OKF operates as a social enterprise, relying on self-generated funds. Our funds come from OKF Club contributions, corporate partnerships, book sales, and consulting services provided by Dr. Kofi Osei-Kusi.
