About Online Safety- Leb
Online Safety Lebanon (OSL) is a non-profit organization based in Beirut, Lebanon. Since its establishment in 2011, OSL has been dedicated to empowering children in the Arab world to have safer and more positive experiences online. With a vision of creating a safer internet for all, OSL works with various stakeholders to prioritize the rights of children, ensuring they have access, protection, and the necessary tools to navigate the online world.
OSL's mission is to empower children, parents, and educators with the skills, knowledge, and strategies to navigate the online world safely, fostering a culture of online responsibility. They achieve this through three key pillars: Digital Civility, Public Policy, and Empowerment Through Technology. OSL conducts programs and events that promote digital civility, educate and inform governments, policy makers, social workers, educators, and media about online safety.
