Oslo Roklubb is a friendly, relaxed and welcoming rowing club that invites adults of all ages and experience levels to get involved. Whether you are new to rowing or an experienced athlete, the club offers opportunities to learn, train, compete or simply enjoy time on the water. Its boathouse is located beside Sjølyst Marina and is equipped with a small fleet of flatwater and coastal rowing boats.
The club has an active group of women and men who train and compete regularly, alongside members who row for recreation. Beginners can join regular training sessions, while visiting experienced rowers in Oslo are welcome to connect with the club and attend a session. The usual on-water season runs from 15 April to 15 October, with some joint winter training also arranged.
After rowing, members can relax in the club’s small, recently renovated clubhouse. Summer social events include friendly barbecues. Regular sessions take place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings.
