About Internado Legislativo Jorge A. Ramos Comas
"Oficina de Servicios Legislativos" is an essential permanent agency of the Asamblea Legislativa del Estado Libre Asociado de Puerto Rico, offering support and expanding the resources of the Cámara de Representantes and the Senado de Puerto Rico. Since its establishment by Law No. 397 on May 13, 1947, the OSL has undertaken key functions, such as attending to legal consultations, drafting bill drafts, conducting legislative studies and reports, translating laws, among others.
The ultimate goal of the OSL is to provide lawmakers and the public with top-quality advice and services related to the legislative process. Additionally, the OSL actively engages in promoting the rich history of the Capitolio de Puerto Rico, offering educational workshops and seminars, improving accessibility to legislative documents, and providing various intern programs and public initiatives.
