About OSMD
OSMD is an abbreviation for Občanské sdružení majitelů domů v ČR, z. s., which translates to the Civic Association of Homeowners in the Czech Republic. Established in 1990, OSMD currently has around 3000 members, including individual property owners, corporate entities with their own housing funds, and certain municipalities.
The main mission of OSMD is to advocate for the interests of property owners involved in rental housing. The association serves as a platform for discussing and providing feedback on new and revised housing legislation. OSMD members have access to all the necessary information related to rental housing issues, as well as the rights and obligations of landlords towards government authorities, tenants, and third parties.
