O'Speed

O’Speed is an outdoor information website focused on canyoning and extreme sports, bringing together practical resources for people who want to explore canyoning safely and with confidence. Its articles introduce canyons and natural areas across France and beyond, including destinations in the Pyrenees, the Vercors, the Vosges, the Basque Country and Montenegro. Readers can find guidance on access, hiking routes, landscapes, river conditions and the features of individual descents, from beginner-friendly outings to demanding technical courses.

The site also covers the equipment and preparation needed for canyoning, with content on choosing suitable footwear and helmets and understanding safety requirements. Its guides describe common activities such as rappelling, natural slides and optional jumps, while noting route difficulty, duration, elevation changes and age suitability where available. In addition to canyoning, O’Speed features content on other outdoor sports, including rafting and hiking. The website’s main offering is informational: destination guides and practical articles designed to help readers plan outings and better understand the skills, equipment and conditions involved.
