Os Pimentinhas is an early childhood education provider in São Martinho do Bispo, Coimbra, offering care and learning for children from birth to six years old. Its educational approach places children at the centre of daily life, creating a safe, supportive and stimulating environment where they can explore, make discoveries, develop independence and build relationships. The team aims to work closely with families, sharing children’s achievements, concerns and challenges to support each child’s individual growth within the group.

The programme combines classroom learning with opportunities for play, discovery and activities adapted to different ages and needs. Curriculum-enrichment options include English, physical education, swimming and music, designed to encourage language learning and physical, social and emotional development. The spaces are organised flexibly for different groups and occasions, with attention to safety and well-being. Os Pimentinhas also offers a nursery and preschool, as well as extracurricular activities and outings. Located in Coimbra, the institution is open Monday to Friday and provides information about enrolment, fees, its educational project and its team.
