The Osprey Class Association supports owners and enthusiasts of the Osprey, a fast, large sailing dinghy designed by Ian Proctor. Mainly sailed in the UK, the class also welcomes sailors worldwide, with Ospreys recorded in 40 countries. The boat features a single trapeze and a symmetric spinnaker, and can be sailed by two or three people. Its balanced handling and spacious interior make it suitable for racing or cruising on reservoirs, tidal rivers and open water. Gradual class development preserves the original hull and sail-plan concept, allowing older boats to remain competitive alongside modern versions. Hartley Boats builds contemporary Ospreys, while permitted equipment options include carbon rigs.

The association organises the UK National Championship, open-meeting circuits and training days. It also maintains measurement rules, boat records and trophies, issues measurement certificates, and promotes the class through its website, forum, social media and sailing publications. Members can access event information, class documents and listings for boats and equipment for sale.
