Ośrodek Harmonia

Harmonia is a non-public day rehabilitation, education and therapy centre in Szczecin, Poland, serving children and young people aged 6 to 25 with moderate, severe or profound intellectual disabilities and multiple disabilities. The centre supports learners who need specially organized education, individualized teaching methods and tailored care. Its purpose is to foster comprehensive development in a safe, accepting environment, build independence and help each student participate in social life and integrate with their community as far as their abilities allow.

Education and therapy are guided by an individualized educational and therapeutic programme (IPET), developed and adjusted by the centre’s therapeutic team to meet changing needs. Harmonia provides compulsory education, including preschool preparation and learning at primary, lower-secondary and vocational-preparation levels, as well as early child development support (WWRD). Specialist sessions are delivered by a professionally prepared team.

Through projects run by the Harmonia Foundation, the organization also offers rehabilitation and support for people with disabilities and their families, including craniosacral therapy, sound therapy, multisensory music stimulation and parent training
