OSRS Index is an unofficial, non-commercial reference website for players of Old School RuneScape. It brings together practical tools and information to help visitors explore Gielinor, get started with the game, and follow its latest developments. New players can use a step-by-step beginner guide that begins on Tutorial Island and leads toward early quests, levels, and coins. The site also offers a Gielinor world map, a DPS calculator, and browsable reference material, with sources provided for its content.

OSRS Index highlights a RuneLite account connection feature intended to show a synced character and help users return to their last map location. The site also presents item price movements, including biggest risers and fallers by gold piece value, alongside recent Old School RuneScape headlines covering community news and game updates. Its reference content comes from the Old School RuneScape Wiki and is shared under the stated CC BY-NC-SA 3.0 terms. OSRS Index notes that it is not endorsed by or affiliated with Jagex Limited or the Wiki.
