OTB Farm

On The Bit Farm is a small equestrian facility near Haskins and Bowling Green, Ohio, serving riders just minutes from Toledo. Established in 2009, the farm specializes in dressage-based English riding and offers lessons for beginners through advanced riders. Its program emphasizes progressive learning and develops foundational and lower-level dressage skills that can benefit riders across disciplines. Lessons are by appointment and are available on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.

Owner and instructor Alexis Brewer brings more than 20 years of teaching experience and over 30 years around horses. A University of Findlay graduate with degrees in English Equestrian Studies and Therapeutic Riding Program Management, she has competed in dressage and trained horses through upper levels. Riders can learn on the farm’s horses, trailer in their own horse, or arrange for Alexis to travel, depending on distance. Lessons also include hands-on horse care, with students grooming and tacking up before riding and grooming and untacking afterward.
