About Ohr Torah Stone
Ohr Torah Stone is a Modern Orthodox movement that aims to make a transformative impact on Jewish education, leadership, and outreach worldwide. With its network of 30 institutions and programs, Ohr Torah Stone is dedicated to illuminating the beauty and contemporary relevance of authentic Torah Judaism. Led by President and Rosh HaYeshiva Rabbi Dr.
Kenneth Brander, the organization continues to build upon the unique vision of its founder, Rabbi Dr. Shlomo Riskin. Ohr Torah Stone offers a wide range of services and programs to fulfill its mission.
Their education programs include high schools, women's programs, men's programs, and rabbinical ordination, all aimed at providing a comprehensive Torah education. The movement also focuses on inclusion, empowering Orthodox women, and promoting interfaith activities. In addition, Ohr Torah Stone has a strong emphasis on leadership development and advocacy in areas such as aguna (chained women) advocacy and conversion.
Through their outreach initiatives, Ohr Torah Stone connects with Jewish communities worldwide and sends emissaries to the diaspora and within Israel. Their impactful work has led to the release of agunot, the ordination of numerous rabbis, and the participation of many individuals in communal Jewish identity programs. Overall, Ohr Torah Stone is dedicated to lighting the way and promoting the values and teachings of Torah Judaism in the modern world
