Oubari Pharma is a leading Syrian Pharmaceutical Company that has been serving patients in Syria, Iraq, Algeria, Yemen, Sudan, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Mauritania, and Vietnam. Founded in 1989, Oubari Pharma was the first private pharmaceutical company in Syria to undertake sterile production. They initially produced both sterile and oral dosage products under license from renowned European manufacturers.

In 1994, Oubari Pharma started exporting its products to African and Middle Eastern countries. By 1999, the company was operating on international standards such as ISO 9001 and had state-of-the-art laboratories and equipment. In the year 2000, Oubari Pharma relocated its production to a new facility in the environmentally clean Al Zerbeh area.
