Our Community Bikes

Our Community Bikes is a Vancouver community bike shop and social enterprise dedicated to making cycling more accessible while building community. The organization sells refurbished bicycles and new and used parts, provides bike repairs and tune-ups, and operates as a bicycle recycling hub. Its social mission includes connecting underserved communities with bikes, helping people gain the skills and space to repair their own bicycles, and supporting greater diversity in the cycling industry.

Alongside its shop services, Our Community Bikes offers programs for people at different stages of life and experience. These include DIY access nights and volunteer opportunities for people of equity-seeking genders, mechanics courses for adults and young people, and workshops covering basic bike maintenance and road safety. Pedals for the People helps improve bike access for people facing severe or ongoing financial hardship, while youth programs foster cycling confidence, mechanical abilities, leadership, and community connection. The organization also provides education and workspace for those who want to learn bicycle repair.
