About Springfield Farm
Established in 1856, Springfield Farm is a seventeenth-generation family farm located in Sparks, Maryland. For over 160 years, the Smith family has passionately cared for the land and animals that make up this cherished farm. Beginning with a flock of chickens, the farm has been nurtured and expanded by three generations of the Smith family.
Today, the farm is managed by Catherine Simpson, her daughter Rachel Webb, and Rachel's fiancé Parker Koppelman. At Springfield Farm, we are committed to utilizing sustainable farming practices that prioritize regenerative land management and humane animal husbandry. We take pride in providing our local community with nutrient-dense food that is better for our land, livestock, and customers.
