Our White House is an engaging educational initiative designed to captivate children and enhance their understanding of American history. The program serves as a vital supplement to the acclaimed book, "OUR WHITE HOUSE: LOOKING IN, LOOKING OUT," which features a rich collection of illustrations by renowned artists, making history accessible and appealing to young audiences.

The website offers a wealth of resources, including interactive history and civics lessons that explore significant topics such as the White House's role, the lives of U.S. Presidents and First Ladies, voting rights, and historical elections. Additionally, it provides valuable educational tools like literacy kits, field trip guides, and research resources aimed at igniting curiosity and fostering critical thinking skills.

By bridging literature with civic education, Our White House not only promotes literacy but also inspires the next generation of engaged citizens. The initiative is supported by the National Children's Book and Literacy Alliance, emphasizing its commitment to enriching children's lives through the power of storytelling and historical exploration.
