Outer Dowsing Offshore Wind is a prominent brand in the renewable energy sector. Located approximately 54km off the Lincolnshire coast, this 1. 5GW project is a joint venture between TotalEnergies, Corio Generation (a Green Investment Group portfolio company), and Gulf Energy Developments.
Upon completion, it will be one of the largest offshore wind farms in the UK. Outer Dowsing Offshore Wind aims to generate clean electricity equivalent to the annual consumption of over 1. 6 million households.
With a target generation date of 2030, it will play a vital role in achieving the UK Government's goal of 50GW of offshore wind capacity by 2030 and net zero by 2050. By displacing nearly 2 million tonnes of CO2 emissions yearly, it will have a tremendous positive impact on the environment, equivalent to removing over 650,000 petrol cars from the road.
