Outlive is a collaborative effort by three partner organizations - Centre for Mental Health Law & Policy (Indian Law Society), Sangath, and Quicksand Design Studio - all supported by Comic Relief. Our mission is to develop suicide prevention programs, especially tailored for young people, with their active involvement. Over the past year, we have engaged with over 50 young individuals from diverse backgrounds to better understand their experiences and gather their ideas on youth suicide prevention. Based on their valuable input, we have collectively engineered three important suicide prevention initiatives.

These initiatives include a national public engagement campaign designed to disseminate information and resources, a network of youth peer supporters trained to provide emotional support through a chat-based mobile platform, and 10 youth advocates who will be trained and supported to engage with policymakers and participate in policy processes for youth suicide prevention.

Our wider project team also includes a nationally representative Young People's Advisory Group (YPAG), which works with us to steer the project objectives and activities, evaluation, and public engagement. Join us in our mission to prevent youth suicide.
