Outreach Teen & Family Services is a nonprofit, community-based counseling agency serving children, teens, and families in Pittsburgh’s South Hills. For 50 years, it has provided accessible, professional, confidential, and nonjudgmental support to help young people recognize their strengths and navigate personal and family challenges. Its services include counseling, educational programs, prevention initiatives, and coaching, with programming designed to respond to the evolving needs of local communities.
Outreach also offers resources for parents and families, group counseling, and support focused on youth wellbeing and awareness. The organization aims to help children, teens, and families access the care and connections they need to thrive. Services operate on a fee-for-service basis, but Outreach does not turn people away because they cannot afford to pay; subsidies are available for families experiencing financial hardship.
Its work is supported by community advocates and professional therapists, with a focus on creating a safe environment where clients can seek help without judgment
