Its approach combines aesthetics, functionality and sustainability, with designs intended to make outdoor areas more welcoming, engaging and useful for people of different ages and backgrounds. The company designs and delivers products including benches, tables and play elements, as well as solutions such as cable-free lighting and EcoMix, which rethinks the use of recycled materials in public spaces.
out-sider aims to challenge conventional forms, colours and materials while helping communities make better use of the spaces between buildings. Its website features project references from Denmark and other European locations, showing how its products can support places to pause, meet and take part in everyday activities. For planning, customers can use the ViZU tool to explore shapes and colours and view designs in augmented reality. A digital moodboard lets users collect products, review measurements and technical information, and share selections with colleagues or request a PDF.
