About Will and Citizenship
Organisation Volonté et Citoyenneté (OVC) is a dynamic youth-led NGO that was established in May 2012 and officially recognized on June 5th, 2012. Headquartered in Gabes, Tunisia, OVC operates on a regional scale with a primary focus on the southern region of Tunisia. As an organization, OVC is committed to defending and promoting Human Rights and citizenship values.
They achieve this by conducting training workshops for young activists from civil society organizations (CSOs), as well as providing training for election observers. OVC also plays a significant role in supporting Tunisia's democratic transition by empowering candidates and elected officials at the local government and ARP (Assembly of the Representatives of the People) levels. Furthermore, OVC actively advocates for citizenship, Human Rights, environmental issues, OpenGov, transparency, and anti-corruption through grassroots movements both offline and online.
