About Overdose-lifeline Inc
Overdose Lifeline is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to helping individuals, families, and communities affected by substance use disorder. Its work combines education, advocacy, harm reduction, and support, with the goals of preventing overdose, improving access to care, and reducing the stigma associated with addiction.
The organization provides information and resources on substance use disorder, treatment, recovery, and harm reduction, alongside training for the public, schools, and first responders. Its programs include youth prevention initiatives, opioid and overdose education, and accredited online courses addressing the DEA MATE Act training requirement. Overdose Lifeline also works to expand access to naloxone and fentanyl test strips, and offers tools to locate naloxone distribution points.
For families and people affected by loss or recovery, services include CRAFT family support, peer grief support through Lifeline for Loss, and recovery resources. The organization also conducts advocacy, community events, and volunteer activities, and shares stories and educational materials to encourage understanding and connection. Donations and community participation help support its prevention and recovery programs.
