Overlea

The Overlea/Marc Garneau Alumni Association connects former students and staff of Marc Garneau Collegiate Institute with one another and with the school’s history and current activities. Serving as a conduit to past memories and school happenings, the association offers a place to stay informed, reconnect, and celebrate the community’s achievements.

A central part of its mission is raising funds for post-secondary educational scholarships, awarded annually to eligible graduates of Marc Garneau Collegiate Institute. The association shares information about scholarships and awards, including past award winners and student recipients from the 1990s through the 2020s. It also welcomes people interested in becoming members and provides opportunities to support its work through donations.

Visitors can explore the association’s history, events, photo gallery, news, and “Where Are They Now?” features, as well as messages from its founder and president and information about Dr. Marc Garneau. Through these resources and alumni connections, the organization helps preserve shared memories while supporting graduates as they pursue further education.
