Its services include the Overpass API for querying current and historical map data, with updates every minute and options for change notifications; vector map tiles in nine styles, featuring terrain, contour lines, 3D buildings and labels in 41 languages; geocoding for worldwide address and place searches, autocomplete and reverse lookups; and elevation data for points, routes and GPX tracks.
Elevation sources include a 2-metre grid from swisstopo in Switzerland and Liechtenstein, Copernicus data elsewhere on land, and GEBCO at sea. The company offers free plans with monthly usage limits, as well as paid plans for commercial use, email support and higher volumes. Customers can also host the Overpass API on their own server.
The service runs open-source Overpass API software, uses servers in Finland, and relies on OpenStreetMap data under the Open Database Licence
