We provide a home for men leaving prison who would otherwise be homeless. Our approach is to recognise the skills and talent in each person, and together in the supportive Own Merit community we help each other to succeed. Working with wonderful partners and employers across Northamptonshire, we help prepare the men for work and then support them so they can maintain their job. While we pride ourselves on our safe environment, it is the men themselves who make Own Merit a success.

About OWN MERIT
Own Merit is a Social Enterprise founded by Darryn Frost QGM and Steve Gallant QGM, who demonstrated immense bravery during the Fishmonger's Hall terror attack in 2019 and were honored with the Queen's Gallantry Medal in 2023. Drawing on their 30 years of collective experience in the UK Justice system, Own Merit aims to support individuals in rebuilding their lives post-incarceration. Their mission is to provide a platform for empowerment and rehabilitation, offering a range of services to help those in need.
