The Oxford Festival Fringe Preview Comedy Festival, affectionately known as the Oxford Comedy Festival, is a vibrant month-long celebration of comedy held each July in Oxford. Since its inception in 2018, the festival has brought together the finest comedians on their way to the Edinburgh Fringe and other major festivals, providing a platform for talent that reflects an array of underrepresented voices, including women, people of color, and LGBTQ+ performers. Curated by QED Comedy Lab, this engaging event features over 50 shows spread across three lively venues, showcasing both established acts and experimental performances.
With a commitment to inclusivity and diversity, the festival aims to elevate the art of stand-up comedy while offering the community a chance to experience pre-Edinburgh performances. Visitors can expect an exciting array of talents and styles, solidifying the festival's reputation as a must-visit event for comedy lovers in Oxford. Join us this July for a month filled with laughter and memorable moments!
