OYO Architects is an architectural studio that challenges conventional ideas about how buildings and spaces should be designed. Its work starts from the belief that ways of living continue to evolve, and that places created for people should evolve too. The studio explores how space can better support people and reveal new possibilities, bringing together architecture, urban design and interior design within an open framework for ideas.
OYO’s projects include educational, workplace, residential and adaptive-reuse spaces. Examples include a new home for excellence in dance education at the Royal Ballet School in Antwerp, the reimagining of Antwerp’s Montevideo warehouses as Tomorrowland offices, and a productive office landscape for Unilin Panels in Wielsbeke. Its residential work includes House Lico in Dworp, designed to celebrate its setting. The studio also shares news about its projects and awards, including recognition for Wintercircus and House JOAM. OYO has locations in Ghent and Barcelona and welcomes enquiries about working together, office spaces in Ghent and career opportunities.
