About P-BIO
Welcome to the P-BIO website. P-BIO is a non-profit private association that brings together companies in the field of biotechnology and life sciences in Portugal. They focus on various areas such as bio-pharmaceuticals, digital health, precision medicine, new therapies and diagnostic tools, industrial biotechnology, agri-food biotechnology, and marine biotechnology.
Since its establishment in 1999, P-BIO has played a key role in the development and support of biotechnology in Portugal. Their aim is to create a favorable environment for the creation and growth of biotech start-ups, both nationally and internationally. P-BIO offers a range of activities and initiatives, including the BIOMEET Sessions, which promote innovation in biotechnology, and the BIO-SAÚDE 2030 project, which focuses on in vitro diagnostic solutions in Portugal.
