PAEF

The Port Angeles Education Foundation (PAEF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting students and educational programs in partnership with Port Angeles public schools. Since 1991, it has worked to give every child in Port Angeles an equal opportunity to receive a quality education. Its mission is to foster support for students and programs by promoting creativity, innovation, and excellence, with a vision of removing barriers so every child can reach their full potential.

PAEF offers several programs serving students, teachers, and schools. Student Needs assistance helps students facing circumstances that affect attendance, participation, or readiness to learn. School and Teacher Grants expand learning opportunities across the district, while Reimbursement Grants help cover teachers’ classroom expenses. Scholarships make post-secondary education more accessible and attainable for local students. The foundation also presents Academic Achievement Awards to recognize Port Angeles High School students for academic excellence, dedication, and accomplishments.

Community members can support PAEF by donating, volunteering, and signing up for updates about its events and opportunities.
