About Pan Am 103 Lockerbie Legacy Foundation
The Pan Am 103 Lockerbie Legacy Foundation is dedicated to honoring the victims of the tragic December 21, 1988, terrorist attack, which claimed the lives of 270 individuals and remains one of history’s most significant cold cases. Founded by families of the victims, the Foundation seeks to raise awareness and educate the public about the event and its lasting impacts on society. Through various initiatives, it preserves the memory of the victims with a Living Memorial and engages the global community through the Legacy Story Project, which gives voice to those affected by the tragedy.
The Foundation focuses on providing educational resources, including historical timelines and a primary-source archive, to ensure that the lessons of this devastating event are not forgotten. It actively advocates for victims’ rights and justice for the perpetrators yet to be held accountable. Through collaboration and outreach, the Pan Am 103 Lockerbie Legacy Foundation aims to foster understanding, healing, and change, reminding the world that amid tragedy, good can endure
