Paardentrainster

Paardentrainster is a private horse-training service led by Maaike van der Eng, serving the Kennemerland region of the Netherlands. The business helps owners and horses enjoy riding more by addressing issues such as restlessness and developing horses into confident recreational partners. Rather than relying on a standard approach, Maaike creates an individual training plan suited to each horse’s needs, with the aim of improving physical condition, mental wellbeing, activation, and overall health.

Training extends beyond starting a horse under saddle. Services cover work both on and around the horse, as well as training and guidance for the rider. As a private trainer, Maaike provides one-to-one attention for each horse and owner, and can offer support at the client’s home or stable. She also provides guidance when purchasing a horse. Paardentrainster’s approach focuses on helping each horse receive appropriate, purposeful training so that horse and rider can make the most of their time together. Her work is intended to support both horse and owner.
