Vidara is a video-hosting and file-sharing service that helps users upload, store, stream, and share video content. The platform supports popular formats including MP4, MKV, AVI, WMV, FLV, MOV, WebM, and others, and says it does not remove inactive files. Its stated features include unlimited storage, streaming without bandwidth or speed limits, and fast video encoding to prepare uploads for viewing.

Creators can review statistics about where their viewers come from, add subtitles for accessibility and broader reach, and upload videos with multiple audio tracks for different languages or commentary. Vidara also offers custom advertising options, allowing users to monetize hosted content. The service counts up to four views per user or IP address within a 24-hour period.

Users can get started by uploading videos, while account options include sign-up and a Premium offering. Vidara also lists API access and provides support through its contact channel, alongside terms of service, privacy information, and a copyright policy
