Parent and Child Enrichment Program

P.A.C.E. (Parent and Child Enrichment) is a community-supported program serving pregnant women and families across the Greater Columbia area of South Carolina, with a focus on people facing poverty, limited resources, and barriers affecting BIPOC and rural communities. The program helps participants manage pain and stress during pregnancy through education, wellness practices, and connections to local support, emphasizing non-addictive alternatives to prescription medication.

P.A.C.E. provides information about the risks and side effects of prescription drugs and helps women explore available resources and options. Its wellness services encourage suitable nutrition, exercise, and healthy habits. Participants can also take part in educational workshops, group wellness events, nutrition check-ins, and community gatherings designed to support physical and mental health before, during, and after pregnancy.

After birth, P.A.C.E. supports mothers through financial assistance, community networking, and resource coordination. The program collaborates with healthcare practices, public health and nutrition programs, childcare providers, and other maternal-support organizations to connect families with local services. It also invites community members to contribute donations or become partners.
