Packed With Care Foundation

The Packed With Care Foundation is an Australian charitable organisation working to advance the physical and mental health of children and young people by supporting women, children, and families through life’s challenges. Its approach combines practical assistance, education, and community connection, offering support between crisis services and private care. The foundation works with schools, community organisations, local services, and a local hospital to help support reach families when and how it is needed.

Its Essential Bags provide non-perishable food and other timely necessities for people facing financial pressure, domestic violence, food insecurity, health or wellbeing challenges, and rising living costs. The foundation also offers advocacy and referrals to help individuals and families connect with services such as housing, financial assistance, legal support, mental health care, and social programs.

Its founding Packs with Care program began with meal packs for parents caring for children in hospital. It has since expanded to include lunch, school, baby, and mother care packs, tailored to people’s circumstances.
