About Pacific Regional Education Framework
Pacific Regional Education Framework (PacREF) is a comprehensive and focused regional policy guide that aims to enhance the quality of education services in 15 Pacific island countries. Endorsed at the Forum Education Minister Meeting in 2018, PacREF sets out a long-term policy agenda with specific outcomes. By identifying shared challenges, developing solutions, and improving student outcomes and well-being, PacREF strives to build the capacity of Pacific education institutions and maximize shared resources.
With a demand-responsive approach, PacREF emphasizes the need to develop the region's capacity to deliver high-quality education services. It provides a framework for collaboration and cooperation among member countries, guiding them towards achieving their educational goals.
