About Pactul pentru tineri
Pactul pentru Tineri is a crucial national program in Romania dedicated to reducing early school dropout rates. With the goal of decreasing school abandonment by at least 1%, Pactul pentru Tineri focuses on raising awareness of the issue and implementing viable solutions. One such solution is introducing vocational education in schools.
By identifying key measures through county debates, such as legislative actions and governmental or nongovernmental programs, steps are being taken to prevent and reduce school dropout rates. With over 16,000 minor mothers in Romania and 400,000 children outside the educational system, the initiative highlights the societal impact of school abandonment.
