Paddle River Golf

Paddle River Golf & Country Club is a welcoming public golf destination in Barrhead, Alberta, set beside the tranquil Paddle River near the town’s south entrance. Established in 1951, the club features a mature, natural setting with trees, water hazards and sand traps. Its short, regulation nine-hole executive course is par 35 and offers a relaxed pace of play for beginners, experienced golfers and visitors of all ages. Membership is available, but players do not need to join to enjoy the course.

The club provides daily golf rates, tee-time bookings, golf club and cart rentals, Tempo Walkers, pull carts, seasonal cart storage and locker storage. After a round, guests can unwind at the clubhouse or visit River & Nine Restaurant and Lounge, which serves food and drinks daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. The club also encourages amateur golf, active recreation and community connection, and welcomes volunteers and suggestions to support fundraising, facility upkeep and grounds beautification.
