Paddle Sensor

Paddle Sensor helps people measure and understand their performance in kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), and rowing. Its compact, waterproof sensor attaches to a paddle shaft and works with the Paddle Sensor app, turning each stroke into training data. The sensor measures 69.8 mm long, 34.5 mm wide, and 23.6 mm high, weighs 53 g with its mount, and has an IP68-rated waterproof housing.

The app offers two training modes. In Basic mode, users can record a route, distance, duration, speed, and estimated calories without additional hardware. With the sensor, Pro mode adds total stroke count, stroke rate, fatigue information, and left–right balance for SUP. Sessions can be paused during breaks, and completed workouts are available in the Stats tab.

Paddle Sensor also provides weekly, monthly, and yearly training summaries, with options to compare performance with other app users. After a session, users can create and share results using six designed share cards and a personal photo. The app supports four languages and covers three sports.
