Padelwest is a Perth-based padel venue founded by Ashwin Sharma and Zach Itzstein to bring the social, fast-growing sport to their hometown. Located at Melville Tennis Centre in Western Australia, it features two courts built by European padel specialists. Padel combines elements of tennis and squash and is played in doubles on an enclosed court where the walls keep rallies in play.

Visitors can book courts daily from 6am to 10pm, with racquet hire included and balls available to purchase on site. Court hire starts at $12 per person per hour off-peak and $15 during peak times. An $80 monthly membership includes free off-peak court bookings. Padelwest also offers social sessions, coaching groups, private lessons and training for players at different levels. Its coaches support beginners and experienced players looking to develop their game. The brand runs leagues, tournaments and other events, and its online shop offers padel clothing, racquets and accessories. Padelwest welcomes players of varied ages and abilities.
