Osterlauf

Osterlauf is Germany's oldest road race, attracting over 12,000 runners from 21 nations every year on Easter Saturday in Paderborn. As the largest running event in the region, Osterlauf offers competitions for participants of all ages and skill levels. The race takes place on a flat circuit, with the 10km route completed once and the half marathon route completed twice.

The only notable incline occurs after approximately 1km, when runners cross the North Bridge over the railway tracks. Starting and finishing at the Maspernplatz Sports Center, participants in the Osterlauf run alongside some of the fastest and most talented runners, including ambitious young athletes from Germany. The event is known for its efficient organization and the passion for running displayed by all participants.
