Padurea Copiilor is a brand that is present in 34 communities in southern Romania. Their mission is to reforest unproductive land and create forests in 100 communities by 2035. They have already brought over 175 hectares of land back to life, with 33 hectares already in a mature forest state.

The association works closely with local communities, including local authorities and residents, for at least 7 years, involving them in the planting and maintenance process. They continue to monitor the reforested areas for another 7 years after reaching a mature state. Padurea Copiilor solely relies on private funding and community involvement to ensure that the forest remains in the care of those who will benefit from it.

With achievements like 30 hectares of reforestation in 10 communities and collaborations with 15 companies and 1500 volunteers, Padurea Copiilor is committed to growing forests and forming communities
