About PAESOE
PAESOE, the Professional Association of Emergency Surgery Officers in Ethiopia, is dedicated to saving lives across Ethiopia through emergency obstetric, general, and trauma surgery. With the primary objective of improving the quality and accessibility of obstetric and emergency surgical care for the rural poor population, PAESOE aims to promote unity and collaboration among Emergency Surgical Officers (ESO) in Ethiopia. The association facilitates continued medical education, PhD programs, and medical specialties for its members.
PAESOE actively participates in research, quality healthcare development, and interprofessional collaboration to improve patient and community health outcomes. Through international affiliation and the sharing of best practices, PAESOE strives to enhance the quality of its services and represent itself in the country's health system. With a dedicated executive committee and a memorandum outlining its objectives and structure, PAESOE is committed to remaining competent and providing the best possible care in emergency surgery and obstetrics
