Paimionjoki-yhdistys ry is an association focused on the Paimionjoki river, its watershed, natural environments and recreational value. Its work brings together information, research and practical initiatives to support the river and the communities connected to it. The association shares material on water quality and pollution, agriculture and forestry, stormwater and wastewater, river regulation and dams, fish and crayfish, streams, rapids and monitoring studies. It also highlights local nature sites and opportunities for canoeing, fishing and tourism.

The association promotes environmental education and nature management, publishes updates on river conditions, and recognises contributions through the Paimionjoki Award. It also supports water restoration and provides information about the watershed and its research. Through project news, events, newsletters and public resources, Paimionjoki-yhdistys helps people explore the river, understand its condition and take part in caring for this living natural heritage.
