PaintCare is a non-profit organization dedicated to the responsible management of paint waste. As a program of the American Coatings Association, they work with paint manufacturers to implement paint stewardship programs in U. S.

Operating in eleven states including California, Colorado, Connecticut, and New York, PaintCare encourages households and businesses to bring their unwanted paint to one of their 2,400 convenient drop-off sites. These locations, primarily paint retailers, are open year-round and seven days a week.

Since its establishment in 2009, PaintCare has collected an impressive 66. 5 million gallons of paint, provided large volume pickups, and hosted paint drop-off events.
