Paint Ontario is a prestigious annual event hosted by the Grand Bend Art Centre, celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2021. This renowned art show and sale, held in the heart of Grand Bend, attracts talented representational painters and art enthusiasts from across Ontario and beyond. Featuring over 200 juried paintings selected from as many as 700 competition entries, Paint Ontario transforms the Grand Bend Legion Community Hall into a stunning gallery equipped with custom lighting and display walls.

The event serves not only as a marketplace for artists to showcase and sell their works, but also as a significant fundraiser, with proceeds directed back into the community. The Grand Bend Art Centre supports various cultural initiatives, including music programs in local schools, community pottery facilities, youth summer camps, and grants to promote the arts. Founded by artist Teresa Marie Phillips in 2008, the GBAC continues to engage and inspire creativity within the community, making art accessible to all.
