Pakahara

Pakahara Farm is an alpaca farm in Schönwalde, in Germany’s Spreewald region, combining alpaca breeding with visitor experiences and a farm shop. The farm’s story began in 2013, when its founder welcomed the first three alpacas. Breeding focuses on maintaining the fineness and quality of the animals’ fleece as they age. For people interested in keeping alpacas for a hobby or breeding, Pakahara offers guidance and support after purchase.

Since 2021, the farm has also hosted alpaca walks and other events, giving visitors the chance to meet the animals up close. Experiences include walks with alpacas and more leisurely picnics in the pasture. The farm shop offers a broad selection of products made from or featuring alpaca wool, including felt insoles, hats, soft toys, blankets, soap and gifts. Shop visits are arranged by calling ahead, with appointments available at short notice.
