PWP

Pakistan Weather Portal (PWP) is recognized as the first dedicated weather blog in Pakistan, originally launched on March 6, 2011. After a brief hiatus between 2014 and 2021, PWP has re-established itself as a key source of verified climatic research and weather information. Founded by climate activist Babar Hussain, the portal aims to provide accurate and insightful articles that cater to both the casual reader and weather enthusiasts alike.

PWP offers a wide range of services including thorough weather forecasts, research posts, and educational content on Pakistan's diverse climate. The portal has garnered attention from esteemed publications such as The Washington Post and The Guardian, highlighting its influential articles on weather patterns and natural phenomena.

By inspiring a new generation of meteorologists and weather bloggers, PWP has become a pivotal resource for understanding climate changes impacting Pakistan. Its community engagement through social media further enhances its mission to foster awareness and interest in meteorology.
